Nike releases models that are inspiring, and the design on its releases lasts for a longer time in the footwear fashion scene. Such releases act as a muse for those who want to collaborate with Nike by using its brand name as a leverage to introduce custom designs and colorways that aren’t from Nike’s concept department. Alife Rivington had once collaborated with Nike to bring out a release that was stylish as well as practical. The Dunks were such a set that provided comfort and style both in the same package. Jordan Brand is also aiming to do the same with its upcoming Air Jordan 12 “Deep Royal Blue.”
The upper’s primary color was in black. The color scheme of the shoe comprised of just three colors but provided with a stylish look. The laces were colored in matching colors of the colorway on each shoe in the set. The Nike swoosh was visible on either side of the shoe with a contrasting white fill in. The ARC logo could be seen on the side panel of the shoe with a white fill. The mid sole of the shoe was colored to match it with the upper’s color. The front of the outer sole was suede and was perforated extensively to provide adequate ventilation. The surface of the upper consisted of suede and quality stitching. These kicks had released only at TZ outlets initially, so sneaker buffs had not been near a tier zero retail point had been lucky enough to find one when it had become available from July 2009 onwards.
In a similar light as the Nike Air Footscape “Tier Zero 2009,” the Air Jordan 12 “Deep Royal Blue” features almost completely suede uppers along with having the signature pebbled leather overlays. This colorway of the Air Jordan 12 is also entirely dressed up in the Deep Royal Blue hue it gets nickname from. The only contrasting hue that can be spotted on this sneaker is White and it appears over the branding. As per Jordan release schedule, this Air Jordan 12 “Deep Royal Blue” will retail at a price of $190 on November 12th, 2016.
