The most recent release of the Air Jordan 15 were the two limited colorways that Jordan Brand had designed to mark the release of the 2016 3D stop-motion film, Kubo and the Two Strings. Hence, the two iterations were not among 2016’s general Jordan releases, rather a total of 220 pairs were auctioned off on eBay. All proceeds from those auctions had gone to the non-profit organization, Just Keep Livin Foundation. Above all, the two renditions were designed by Tinker Hatfield. Sneakerheads already know that the Air Jordan 15 “Stealth” returns in 2017 and just recently, new photos of next year’s version popped up online.
During an interview by Jordan Brand, which was published as a video on Twitter (@Jumpman23), Drake revealed what was his first ever Air Jordan pair. It turns out that the first silhouette from Jordan Brand that he copped for the very first time was the Air Jordan 15. The Air Jordan 15 SE – “Braggin Rights / UNC” was apparently the first Air Jordan sneaker that Drake added to his now vast collection. That particular Air Jordan 15 colorway was dressed up in a combination of Carolina Blue, Metallic Silver and White. However, it is the “Stealth” that is regarded as the best rendition of fifteenth Air Jordan model.
These latest photos of the Air Jordan 15 “Stealth” definitely provide a far detailed look at the sneaker than ever before. Many sneakerheads believe that the Air Jordan 15 had never really managed to gain popularity due to Michael Jordan’s retirement back when this silhouette had been introduced. However, that does not change the fact that the OG “Anthracite/Stealth” is an extremely coveted iteration that plenty of sneakerheads have been wanting to get their hands on. Much like the original, the sneaker’s nearly all-Black uppers feature a full grain leather and woven construction, while the branding and the heels sport Varsity Red-colored accents.
Rumors about the return of the Air Jordan 15 “Stealth” had already spread quite a long time ago. Now, it is also confirmed that the Air Jordan 15 OG “Anthracite/Stealth” will hit the shelves and retail at a price of $190 on January 7, 2017.
