Amidst all the Air Jordan releases 2018 that arrived in December, the Oklahoma Sooners football team received a new Air Jordan 4 PE colorway. Back in November 2017, the Oklahoma Sooners made an announcement revealing that they were officially a Jordan Brand-sponsored football team. At the time, the Michigan Wolverines and the North Carolina Tar Heels were already representing Jordan Brand on the gridiron. Around the same time, the Florida Gators had also become a part of the Jordan Brand family. Earlier this year, the Oklahoma Sooners received a complete Air Jordan PE Collection, and now they have received a brand new PE colorway of the Air Jordan 4.
Jordan Brand & The Oklahoma Sooners Have An Official Website
It was back in July when OUJordan.com was unveiled. At the time, the foremost purpose of the website was to promote the partnership between Jordan Brand and the Oklahoma Sooners. The website has separate pages that feature their current gear and uniforms, all bearing the “Jumpman” logo. Much like the Florida Gators, the Oklahoma Sooners were also welcomed into the Jordan Brand family with a PE Collection consisting of every single Air Jordan model to date. All of those Air Jordan PE pairs were dressed up in a combination of the team’s official colors, namely Cream and Crimson. It is uncertain whether they also featured the team’s “OU” logo.
The Oklahoma Sooners’ New Air Jordan 4 PE Looks More Luxurious
The Air Jordan 4 PE colorway that you see here would look out of place had it been a part of the Oklahoma Sooners’ earlier Air Jordan PE Collection. This is mainly because it is not dressed up in a balanced color scheme of Cream and Crimson. Rather, it is a tonal iteration and Crimson covers its entire uppers, which appear to be made up of suede. In addition to Black– and White-colored speckles, plain White midsoles and icy, translucent outsoles, it also features the “OU” logo on the tongues. Of course, this PE colorway will not be joining this month’s remaining Air Jordan releases 2018.
