It seems that the Proto–Max 720 will be Jordan Brand‘s latest futuristic, athletic sneaker to join upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019. Since late 2018, Jordan Brand has been making it obvious that they are gradually stepping into the future of athletic footwear. The Air Jordan 33 was officially unveiled last year on September 20th, 2018, while at the same time; Jordan Brand had also introduced the Apex–Utility and Proto React sneaker models. Following the unveiling of the Air Jordan 33, Jordan Brand also unveiled a variation of the Proto React dubbed the Jordan Proto-Max 720. It is actually inspired by one of Nike’s latest Air Max sneaker models.
The Proto-Max 720 Draws Inspiration From Nike’s Air Max 720
Nike gave us a first look at the Air Max 720 back in July 2018, introducing it as a shoe that blends casual and lifestyle, designed to be worn on an everyday, regular basis by people who are often on the go. Nike Sportswear’s Dylan Raasch and Jesi Small were the ones who designed the Air Max 720. The highlight and tagline of its cushioning system was “720 degrees of Air.” The Air Max 720 actually made its retail debut earlier this month on February 1st in two different colorway versions; both dubbed “Northern Lights.” Nike will also be releasing more Air Max 720 colorways throughout 2019.
The Proto-Max 720 Is One Of Jordan Brand’s Latest Innovations
With the Proto–Max 720, Jordan Brand has blended together the futuristic “Flight Utility” design and Nike’s latest Air technology. The uppers of the Proto-Max 720 are made up of a flexible and lightweight textile. In order for this lifestyle sneaker to accurately fit every individual wearer, it features heel straps that can be adjusted as desired. Of course, it also equipped with the Air Max 720’s “720 degrees of Air” cushioning system. The Proto-Max 720 will apparently be debuting among upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019 in the Black and Red colorway that you see. Additionally, Flight Utility-related branding can also be spotted throughout.
