Many sneakerheads reading this had probably been high schoolers when the Jordan Dub Zero had made its debut for the very first time back in 2005. Numerous Dub Zero colorways had arrived at retailers at time, sporting hues like Black, Orange, Red and White. However, traditional sneakerheads had not welcomed the hybrid model with open arms, but that did not hinder it from becoming somewhat of a cult classic in the world of sneakers. Since this was Jordan Brand’s first hybrid silhouette, it can be regarded as a trendsetter. Eleven years later, Jordan Brand continues to drop new colorways, such as this one that joins upcoming Jordan releases.
Over the years, numerous remarkable colorways of the Jordan Dub Zero have made their way to retailers. Inspired by the Air Jordan 3 “White / Cement Grey,” the Dub Zero had also arrived in a “Cement Grey” back in 2009, complete with speckled midsoles. One of the latest colorways of the Dub Zero had arrived back in 2015, with uppers dressed up in Blue, Charcoal and Grey, with gold lasered on its overlays and Blue-colored, speckled midsoles. Jordan Brand had even dropped a Dub Zero iteration dressed up in the “Bred” color scheme, drawing inspiration from the Chicago Bulls, it featured in Blacked-out uppers with minor Red detailing.
Even though this year is coming to an end, it is not a bad time for Jordan Brand to drop a brand new Dub Zero release, but this particular one happens to be a GS-exclusive. There could potentially be even more Dub Zero colorways that will join the Air Jordan releases 2017, while Jordan Brand may even bring back original renditions like the “Bred” and “Concord” ones. This upcoming Dub Zero GS iteration has apparently been dubbed “Wolf Grey,” which is the hue that appears on its uppers, while Hyper Pink-colored detailing can be spotted throughout as well.
The release of this brand new Jordan Dub Zero GS colorway is scheduled to take place on November 9th and it will retail for $120. However, small-footed sneakerheads may even cop it on eBay as well.
