Once the 2018–19 NCAA season begins, the uniforms that the Florida Gators football team will be wearing will feature the “Jumpman” logo. The University of Florida’s Gators have joined the football teams of the Michigan, North Carolina and Oklahoma universities, all of which are currently being sponsored by Jordan Brand. By the end up their recent appearance at one of the 2018 SEC media days, the Florida Gators finally unveiled their three new uniform kits bearing the “Jumpman” branding. In addition to these uniforms, an entire PE collection of Air Jordan sneakers was on display at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
Despite switching from Nike to Jordan Brand, the uniforms of the Florida Gators appear to be somewhat the same, including their Blue and Orange color schemes. The Home uniform still consists of a blue jersey and white pants, the Away uniform consists of a white jersey and blue pants, and the Alternate uniform still consists of an orange jersey and white pants. The only difference is the “Jumpman” in place of the Nike “Swoosh.” Even the design of the “18” on the jerseys appears to be the same. Each uniform is also paired with a completely orange helmet with “Gators” printed on both sides in their signature font.

Apart from the uniforms, a Florida Gators PE colorway of each of Jordan Brand’s signature sneaker models, from the Air Jordan 1 to the Air Jordan 2012, were on display during the media day. The photos of the sneakers and the uniforms that are a part of this post were all originally shared on the Gators Football (@GatorsFB) official Instagram profile. As you can see, each Air Jordan model appears to have predominantly clean White uppers, which are further dressed up in a varying combination of Blue and Orange, a reference to the team’s color scheme. Of course, these Florida Gators iterations will not be hitting the shelves.
