April 30th marked the 66th birthday of Tinker Hatfield. In celebration, Jordan Brand is having a “Week of 3s” event, considering that the Air Jordan 3 was the first and most popular model from the signature line designed by him. The purpose of this event, which is exclusive to Europe, is for Jordan Brand to restock a special Air Jordan 3 release each day, over the course of nearly a week, from April 30th to May 4th. Two such releases have already joined recent Air Jordan releases 2018. The first of these was the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker Hatfield,” which was re-released on the day of his birthday.
The second Air Jordan 3 colorway to get restocked as a part of the “Week of 3s” event is the “True Blue” that originally made its debut in 1988 and was re-released back in 2016. The Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” was 2016’s Black Friday release from Jordan Brand, so it made its retail debut on November 25th that year at a price of $220. Along with the heels, the “Nike Air” branding was also featured on the insoles. This “Week of 3s” event will conclude on May 4th, which means that you can expect three more mysterious Air Jordan 3 restocks to take place.
In addition to the Air Jordan 3 colorways that Jordan Brand will be restocking for the “Week of 3s” event, several others are scheduled to make their retail debut in the coming months as well. For instance, you might be aware that the Air Jordan 3 “Katrina,” which arrived early at the recent Jordan Brand x Sneaker Politics block party, is finally going to hit the shelves on May 12th, 2018. An Air Jordan 3 “Triple White” is also set to make its retail debut at a price of $190 on July 21st. The JTH “Bio Beige” colorway will also be for $200 among July’s Air Jordan releases 2018.
