Jordan Brand Might Drop The Air Jordan 13 “Black Cat” In Spring 2017

As early as back in March of this year, Marcus Jordan had already started providing sneakerheads with hints of how action-packed and exhilarating the upcoming Holiday Season 2016 was going to be. By now, sneakerheads likely already know that the Air Jordan 3Cyber Monday,” Air Jordan 3True Blue” and the Air Jordan 11Space Jam” are going to arrive at retailers in the coming months. On Twitter, Dino Hatfield (@baltsneakershow) had also revealed that Jordan Brand would drop an Air Jordan 6Black Cat” on New Year’s Eve. It turns out that Jordan releases 2017 will also include a “Black Cat” iteration of the Air Jordan 13.

air-jordan-13-black-cat-2With the exception of these two upcoming ones, Jordan Brand has already released two prominent “Black Cat” colorways in the past, namely those of the Air Jordan 3 and the Air Jordan 4. The Air Jordan 3 Retro “Black Cat” had originally made its retail debut on June 16th, 2007 and had been available at a price of just $125. Back in 2014, the sneaker had also been re-released. Air Jordan 4 Retro “Black Cat” had actually made its retail debut a year earlier on May 20th, 2006 and its retail price has been even lesser, i.e. $115. The two “Black Cat” iterations have never hit the shelves ever since.

If what Dino Hatfield had reported earlier this year is indeed true, then the Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” will actually make its way to retailers on December 31st, 2016. However, there are probably many sneakerheads who are interested in copping a pair of the Air Jordan 13 “Black Cat” and they will have to wait till next year to do that. The colorway definitely fits the thirteenth Air Jordan model, considering that its design had actually been inspired by a black panther. While there are no photos of the sneaker yet, it will likely be entirely Black like the previous sneakers that have also sported this color scheme.

air-jordan-13-black-cat-3As of now, all that is known is that the Air Jordan 13 “Black Cat” is set to be among Spring 2017’s Air Jordan releases. Therefore, actual photos of the sneaker and perhaps even confirmation of a release date will probably surface by the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
