It has been officially confirmed that the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” is indeed returning and will be among next month’s Air Jordan releases 2019. Rumors that the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” would be making a comeback began circulating as far back as June 2018. Of course, release information was scarce and a couple of sources reported that it would hit the shelves at some point in April 2019, which is certainly not the case as everyone likely knows by now. Considering though that the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” is definitely returning during the first week of next month, it is about time Jordan Brand officially unveiled this year’s version.
By now you certainly know that Michael Jordan originally wore the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” during the 1989 NBA Playoffs as the Chicago Bulls faced off against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Sure, it returned twice before, once in 2008 and later in 2012, but neither of those versions was same as the OG one. Hence, it has taken 30 years for the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” to once again make its way to retailers in its true, original form. Of course, quite a few photos of this year’s version have been leaked over the past couple of weeks but they obviously do not compare to official ones.
As of now, you already know what the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” looks like and that it is for sure joining the Air Jordan releases 2019 next month, so here is a rundown of what Nike has revealed about it. As you can see, this year’s version will come in the same original box from 1989. Since this year’s version is meant to look just like the OG, its heels will feature the “Nike Air” branding. In fact, it will even come with the original “Jumpman” logo and “Flight” lockup. Even Le’Veon Bell and Travis Scott are looking forward to the return of the Air Jordan 4 “Bred.”
