In recent years, Jordan Brand’s lifestyle line has been steadily expanding. Even though it is comprised of off-court models, all of them borrow from Jordan Brand’s performance footwear and happen to be technologically advanced. Their first-ever lifestyle sneaker was the hybrid Jordan Spiz’ike, which originally debuted back in 2006, but their lifestyle line really took off after they introduced the Jordan Future. Released back in March 2014, the Jordan Future decreased the gap between lifestyle and performance. It was also the first basketball sneaker to have one-piece woven uppers. The most recent addition that Jordan Brand has made to their lifestyle line is this Flyknit Elevation 23 featured here.
Ever since the debut of the Jordan Future, Jordan Brand has added several other models to their lifestyle line. These include the Jordan Eclipse and Horizon, both of which were introduced back in 2015. The Jordan Eclipse was first seen back in February 2015 and it looked like a variation of the Nike Roshe Run. The Jordan Horizon was unveiled back in September 2015. Its design was obviously based on the Air Jordan 13. In fact, it looked almost like a replica of the Air Jordad 13, but with mesh uppers. It seems that all of Jordan Brand’s footwear options tend to borrow from previous performance models.
Just like the Jordan Future was inspired by the Air Jordan 11, the Eclipse by the Nike Roshe and the Horizon by the Air Jordan 13, this Jordan Flyknit Elevation 23 draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 6. It looks somewhat like a modern day variation of the Air Jordan 6 since it bears a similar shape, with uppers made up of Flyknit material, while its tongues have been borrowed from the Air Jordan 7. Its Flyknit uppers are sleek Black with some Red-colored detailing visible underneath, while it is equipped with all-White soles. This Jordan Flyknit Elevation 23 colorway will soon make its retail debut on Nike.com.
