Jordan Future “Glow In The Dark”-1

The Jordan Future “Glow In The Dark” From 2014 Is Returning In 2018

Last month’s Air Jordan releases 2018 also included the debuting Air Jordan 3 Flyknit, which hit the shelves on August 15th and retailed at a price of $200. In addition to having multi-textured Flyknit uppers, one of the highlights of this versatile Air Jordan 3 variation was its translucent, glow-in-the-dark outsoles. The Jordan Future colorway featured here looks quite similar to the Air Jordan 3 Flyknit “Black.” If it looks familiar, that is because it is actually not a brand new iteration. On the contrary, this Jordan Future “Glow In The Dark” is actually making its comeback this year, four years after it was originally released back in 2014.

As you have probably read by now, this “Glow In The Dark” iteration was one the debuting colorways of the Jordan Future, the other one being an “Infrared” iteration. Together, they originally made their retail debuts back on March 11th, 2014. Upon being unveiled, it became obvious that the Jordan Future was primarily based upon and resembled the Air Jordan 11, but it also borrowed elements from Nike’s Air Footscape and the Air Woven. It quickly became regarded as one of Jordan Brand’s foremost off-court, lifestyle models of this modern day and age. Back then, each of these two Jordan Future colorways retailed at a price of $185.

Jordan Future “Glow In The Dark”-4Just like it had been over four years ago, this Jordan Future iteration has the same completely woven uppers, which became a distinct characteristic of the model’s lifestyle aesthetic. Featuring the same tonal appearance, its woven uppers are entirely Black, with reflective 3M detailing threaded into them. Last but not least, completing the look are its seemingly plain and translucent outsoles, which actually glow in the dark and make this iteration resemble the Air Jordan 3 Flyknit “Black” mentioned earlier. Exact release details have not been revealed yet, but you may expect this returning Jordan Future “Glow In The Dark” to be among upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018.
