There have not been that many Air Jordan 14 releases this year. Among this year’s earlier Air Jordan releases 2018 included both in Nike’s “Art Of A Champion Pack” and Jordan Brand’s “Last Shot” Pack. This pack marked the return of the original Air Jordan 14 colorway that Michael Jordan was laced up in when he made the unforgettable “Last Shot” during Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals. The “Last Shot” also included a matching Air Jordan 32 colorway. The sneaker featured here certainly resembles the Air Jordan 14. However, it is actually a brand new model that Jordan Brand has released, dubbed the Air Jordan Jumpman Z.
Ferrari has always been Michael Jordan’s favorite luxury sports car brand. That was the source of inspiration when Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 14. The Air Jordan 14 originally made its retail debut back in 1998 was released until 1999 in eight different iterations, three of which were low-top ones. Today, the Air Jordan 14 is regarded as one of the top models from Jordan Brand’s signature line because of its high-end design and performance. Until now though, the Air Jordan 14 has never been modified. Hence, it is surprising that this brand new model resembles the Air Jordan 14 to such an extent.
So, the Air Jordan Jumpman Z can be somewhat regarded as a modern day, upgraded variation of the Air Jordan 14. It may even remind you of the recent “JTH” and “Tinker” iterations of the Ai Jordan 3. Overall, it appears to have a durable, military-style design Olive Green-colored neoprene and suede uppers. It also has a 3/4 cut just like the Air Jordan 4, while is equipped with asymmetrical zippers and midfoot shrouds. In addition to Black-colored detailing that is visible throughout, some Infrared accents can also be spotted, such as the tiny “Jumpman” branding. Its uniquely-toothed midsoles are also partially covered in White.
Considering that it is a brand new model, it is not surprising that it has already joined recent Air Jordan releases 2018. You will be able to cop a pair of the Air Jordan Jumpman Z from Shoe Palace at a price of $160.
