Here’s A Look At Some Of JB’s AJ Releases For 2018
Once the 2017–18 NBA season kicks off, Nike will become the league’s official licensed uniform provider. This will also mean that Michael Jordan’s current basketball franchise, the Charlotte Hornets, will be wearing official uniforms featuring “Jumpman” branding. However, with nearly half of 2017 already gone by and with 2018 gradually approaching, it seems that Jordan Brand also has a lot of plans for the sneaker community as well. It is not surprising that reports and rumors have begun to surface about which Air Jordan sneakers are going to arrive at retailers in 2018. It seems that there will be several returning OG ones and a few retro ones too.
At the beginning of this year, Jordan Brand unveiled their Spring/Summer 2017 Retro lineup. For all the sneakerheads within the population, every new year means that Jordan Brand is going to be dropping a fresh new batch of Air Jordan sneakers. This year was no different, nor will 2018 be. In fact, quite a few of the releases from Jordan Brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 Retro lineup have already been released. These include the Air Jordan 4 “Royal,” Air Jordan 6 “Alternate,” the Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan 8 from the “Take Flight” Pack, and plenty of others.
A few Air Jordan releases from Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2017 lineup have been unveiled too, such as this year’s Black Friday release, the Air Jordan 11 “Midnight Navy.” However, sneakerheads are probably already looking forward to the ones that will hit the shelves in 2018. Arguably, the highlights of 2018’s retro releases will be the returning Air Jordan 3 OG “Black Cement,” which is apparently scheduled for February 2018 during the All-Star Weekend. Also make their retail debuts next year will be two Air Jordan 9 Retro colorways and an Air Jordan 13 Retro “Black/White-Hyper Royal.” Additionally, Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG renditions will also arrive in 2018.For sneakerheads, it definitely not far too soon to be taking a look at what Jordan Brand has in store for 2018, especially now that some of next year’s releases have been revealed. @soleheatonfeet was the one who shared all the information on Twitter about these Air Jordan releases that sneakerheads will be able to cop in 2018.
