Back in July 2016, it had only been five years since the debut of Blake Griffin’s first signature sneaker from Jordan Brand, the Super.Fly. In terms of performance, the five models from the Super.Fly line that have arrived so far have managed to impress. Moreover, Jordan Brand has continued to make the primary tech of Blake’s signature line more and more affordable for sneakerheads. By now, sneakerheads have probably been anticipating the release of Blake’s latest signature model, the Super.Fly 2017, which will eventually join Jordan releases 2017. There have been several previews of upcoming Jordan Super.Fly 2017 colorways, and now another one has been unveiled.
Using innovative, new technology, Jordan Brand has really upgraded the latest Super.Fly model. Jordan Brand will likely use varying materials for the various upcoming iterations of the model, but many of them are apparently equipped with nubuck forefoot overlays and a neoprene material has been used for the rear portions. Not surprising that Jordan Brand has fitted the Super.Fly 2017 with Nike’s newest, hyped “REACT” foam cushioning technology. For support, the sneaker is also equipped with internal heel counters and torsional shank bars. It may seem hard to believe from just words alone, but the Super.Fly 2017 seems to be just about perfect and will likely exceed expectations.
Nike’s proprietary REACT foam happens to be quite a durable and extremely light cushioning technology. This means that the Jordan Super.Fly 2017 is going to feel quite springy beneath the wearer’s feet and its soles feature multi-direction grooves underneath that will offer the finest traction. The latest colorway of the Super.Fly 2017, which is featured here, has been dubbed “Toro.” This iteration appears to have suede uppers, predominantly dressed up in Red, while the rear portion is covered in Black, featuring a fairly large Red-colored “Jumpman” logo. Last but not least, it also appears to be equipped with icy, translucent outsoles as well.
As sneakerheads may or may not be aware, a bunch of Super.Fly 2017 colorways have already joined Air Jordan releases 2017 on Nike.com. However, this particular Jordan Super.Fly 2017 “Toro” is currently retailing exclusively at select overseas retailers at a price of $140, but it will hopefully soon makes its way to stateside retailers as well in Fall 2017.
