Back in June 2017, Jordan Brand introduced the Super.Fly 2017, which was one of the two models that marked the debut of Nike’s full-length REACT core cushioning system. Additionally, it featured snug, one-piece uppers with graphic detailing inspired by the Air Jordan 4 and 11. During the Team USA Basketball Mini-Camp in Las Vegas on July 26th, 2018, Kemba Walker unveiled the latest model from the Super.Fly line on the court. Blake Griffin’s latest signature sneaker model has been named the Jordan Super.Fly MVP. It is finally set to make its retail debut in four different colorways among the Air Jordan releases 2018 in the coming weeks.
What Is The Jordan Super.Fly MVP?
Nike’s REACT system is one of the most revolutionary basketball core cushioning technology, which is the reason the Jordan Super.Fly 2017 was so special and so is the Super.Fly MVP. Like its predecessor, the Super.Fly MVP is ultra-responsive due to being equipped with REACT foam cushioning. Its uppers are made up of a combination of synthetic and text materials, ensuring the utmost comfort but also being form-fitting. In addition to the ultra-responsiveness, the REACT cushioning also makes the Super.Fly MVP quite lightweight. The Super.Fly MVP is apparently a tribute to the 6 NBA Most Valuable Player Awards that Michael Jordan received throughout his career.
Four Upcoming Jordan Super.Fly MVP Colorways
Jordan Brand’s Super.Fly line consists of some their most technologically advanced performance sneaker models, designed to be worn on the basketball court, and the Super.Fly MVP is proof of that. Apart from everything mentioned above, the Super.Fly MVP is equipped with a lacing system that is inspired by that of the Air Jordan 11. Out of the four upcoming colorways, one is all-White, one is dressed up in a combination of Royal Blue and White, one is monochromatic due to its Black and Grey color combination, and the fourth sports a “Bred” color scheme. Each these Jordan Super.Fly MVP colorways will soon retail on Nike.com, reportedly for $140.
