King James Laced Up In The Upcoming Nike LeBron 14 On Christmas Day

Nike recently whipped up a “Christmas Day” PE of the Zoom LeBron Soldier 10. It was quickly assumed and was being reported that this would be the sneaker that LeBron James would wear on Christmas Day as the Cleveland Cavaliers had an NBA Finals rematch of sorts against the Golden State Warriors. The Zoom LeBron Soldier 10 “Christmas Day” PE was a predominantly clean White sneaker with Gold-colored branding on it, but it turned out not to be the sneaker that King James was wearing during the big game. On the contrary, as the Cavaliers faced off against the Warriors, the King was rocking a pair of the LeBron 14.

For fans of basketball, the game between the Cavaliers and the Warriors was like a special Christmas gift from the NBA. The last time these two behemoth teams faced off against each other was back in June at Oracle Arena for the Larry O’Brien trophy. While LeBron James certainly played his part in leading his team towards victory, but it was Kyrie Irving who sealed the deal for the 109-108. However, sneakerheads probably also had their eyes set on the kicks that LeBron James was laced up in.

Nike had actually provided sneakerheads their first official look at the LeBron 14 right before the Christmas Day game kicked off. The colorway of the silhouette that LeBron James himself was rocking will likely be the one that will mark the model’s debut. Apparently, the LeBron 14 will offer the most articulated response compared to its predecessors due to maximum volume Zoom Air units. Engineered laser perforation has been incorporated into its dual-zone composite uppers for a close-to-the-feet fit, which is also the reason it looks so sleek. Last but not least, it is also equipped with dynamic midfoot straps.

Moreover, its outsoles are icy translucent with tinges of Blue and Green. Nike has not yet confirmed a release date for the LeBron 14, so it will likely make its retail debut in 2017.
