The latest colorway of Don C’s Jordan Legacy 312 Low, which will be among upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019, seems to be winter-themed. Under his Just Don streetwear label, Don Crawley (Don C) has been collaborating with Jordan Brand since 2013. It all started with the Just Don x Jordan Brand “Just Jordan” Pack for charity, honoring Black History Month. The pack included an Air Jordan 1 and a snapback hat, both designed by Don C. He later designed several luxurious, quilted Air Jordan 2 iterations that became tremendously popular. No one would have imagined though that he would end up having his own signature Jordan sneaker model.
After Spike Lee, Don C is the second person to have collaborated with Jordan Brand and designed a brand new sneaker model, despite not being an athlete. Despite initial backlash, sneakerheads quickly warmed up to the Jordan Legacy 312 since its debut in the Summer of 2018. Its Legacy 312 name is a reference to the fact that Don C used the Air Jordan 1 as its base, adding the Air Jordan 3’s elephant print overlays and heel panels and the Air Alpha Force Low’s forefoot strap onto it. The very first photo of the Jordan Legacy 312 Low surfaced online in December 2018, but debuted earlier this year.
Apparently this colorway of the Jordan Legacy 312 is bidding farewell to winter. Both the overlays and underlays of its uppers appear to be made up of pebbled leather, which is entirely covered dressed up in the Pale Blue hue it gets its nickname from. The inner lining, forefoot straps, Nike “Swoosh” logos and its tongues are covered in Black. Carolina Blue can be spotted over all of the branding and the rear of the midsoles, while the rest of the soles are plain White. Despite a lack of release details, this colorway will very soon arrive at select retailers and on Nike.com alongside upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019.
