During the 2018 NBA Offseason that kicked off by the end of last month, Russell Westbrook was spotted laced up in a never-before-seen sneaker, assumed to be his next “Why Not” signature model. The Jordan Why Not Zer0.1, Russell Westbrook’s first signature performance sneaker, originally debuted back in January. Back in early June, Jordan Brand introduced the Why Not Zer0.1 Low, which made its retail debut in a “Triple Black” colorway on July 1st at a price of $115. A Why Not Zer0.1 Low UCLA was also released on July 25th. The latest upcoming iteration of the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low is entirely covered in the cement print.
Jordan Brand’s Cement Print
Near the end of July, Jordan Brand unveiled a similar “Cement” iteration of the Air Jordan 10. Jordan Brand’s cement print is often mistaken for the elephant print, and vice versa, although the two are rather different. Of course, the cement print gets its nickname from the fact that it consists of cement grey and the presence of speckles gives it an appearance resembling cement. Cement grey is described as a mid-toned grey hue having a mid-grey shadow, which gives it a realistic concrete-like appearance. Like the elephant print, Jordan Brand’s cement print is equally popular and has appeared on numerous Air Jordan releases over the years.
Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low “Cement”
After the recent “Triple Black” release, this is yet another completely tonal colorway of the Russell Westbrook’s Jordan Why Not Zer0.1. As mentioned, the uppers and even the midsoles of this Why Not Zer0.1 are completely dressed up in Cement Grey, while Black and White speckles appear throughout, giving it a cement print appearance. Additionally, Black can also be spotted over the inner lining and Russell Westbrook’s “RW” branding on the tongues. Its outsoles are also Cement Grey-colored, but the speckles are absent. This Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low “Cement” is set to make its retail debut on August 7th, 2018 at a price of $115.
