Nike Basketball seems to be on a roll with dropping one dope colorway of the LeBron Zoom Solider 9 after another. By the end of May Nike LeBron Soldier 9 “Quai 54” made an exclusive retail debut at Nike retailers in Europe only and during the first week of July, Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 9 “Sprite” also hit the shelves. While it is still uncertain which of the upcoming Nike release dates 2015 will mark the retail debut of Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 9, the sneaker recently made an appearance where sneakerheads were least expecting it.
Just recently, LeBron James along with the Nike Rise Tour was in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, and just for the fans, he put on quite the show. In Manila, The King visited the House of Rise for a press sitdown where he was spotted wearing the Pigalle x Nike LeBron 12 Elite, which will soon arrive at retailers. Next he visited the Mall of Asia where he played some hoops with the Rise Kids who had joined him. LeBron was mostly seated at the bench during the majority of the game, just watching, but he surprised his fans when he finally joined in on the action during the last couple of minutes. However, what left his admirers present there stunned was the fact that The King was laced up in the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 9 “Ohio State” while he showcased some of his fierce signature slam dunks.
This new colorway of the LeBron Zoom Solider 9 popped up near the end of July and as its nickname likely suggests, the sneaker takes inspiration of Ohio, which is the home state of LeBron James. In fact, this LeBron Zoom Solider 9 is even inspired by the Ohio State Buckeyes. LeBron could have actually gone to Ohio State if he had attended college. The mesh upper of this LeBron Zoom Solider 9 is dressed up entirely in red while the hyperposite overlays it features are covered in white. Moreover, silver-colored Nike Swooshes with red outlining can be spotted on the side panels, while the strap and the tongue both sport silver LeBron James logos.
Despite the fact that even LeBron James has now worn the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 9 “Ohio State” out in the public, Nike Basketball has still not dropped any clue as to when this sneaker will arrive. Nonetheless, sneakerheads can keep their hopes up that this sneaker will soon be up for grabs on one of the upcoming Nike release dates 2015.
