The 2018 WNBA All-Star Game is being played on July 28th, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. ET. For the first time, the Minneapolis Lynx is hosting the WNBA All-Star Game, which is taking place in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Target Center. This year’s WNBA All-Star Game will have a different format. In celebration of this year’s biggest women’s exhibition basketball game, Nike is releasing an entire “2018 WNBA All-Star” Collection.

The “2018 WNBA All-Star” Collection
Nike’s “2018 WNBA All-Star” Collection appears to be Purple-themed. Not only is Purple regarded as the color of royalty, it is also a part of the team colors of the Minnesota Vikings football team, and was the signature color of Prince, who was born and raised in Minneapolis. This collection consists of unique colorways of the KD 11, Kobe A.D., Kyrie 4, LeBron Solider 12, LeBron 15, and the PG 2. Each colorway features a ripple pattern on its uppers, which is a reference to the state’s “10,000 lakes.” Nike is actually dropping this collection on the day of the 2018 WNBA All-Star, i.e. July 28th.
