On June 20, the Cleveland Cavaliers made history when Sunday’s final Game 7 of the NBA Finals, where they defeated the Golden State Warriors with a score of 93-89. The last time the Cavaliers had won a major sports championship was back in 1964, so 52 years later, this championship victory was definitely very momentous for the team. The game was also probably the biggest one LeBron James of the Cavaliers has ever played. King James scored 27 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds, and was unanimously voted the Finals MVP. Nike decided to commemorate the occasion by dropping some very special kicks.
Earlier this year, LeBron James was seen laced up in a brand new model of the Nike LeBron. The initial assumption of most sneakerheads was that the silhouette was most probably the Nike LeBron 14, but this did not turn out to be the case. However, it was eventually revealed that the sneaker King James was spotted wearing was the LeBron Zoom Solider 10. Back in April, photos of a brand new Blue and White colorway of the silhouette had popped up online. This new upcoming LeBron Zoom Solider 10 iteration is particularly special because it has received the iD treatment.
As mentioned, the Cleveland Cavaliers have not won a championship in over five decades, so Nike was bound to commemorate their victory with a special and unique sneaker release. Of course, the sneaker also celebrates the fact that LeBron was unanimously named Finals MVP. The stretch-lined uppers of this LeBron Zoom Solider 10 are dressed up entirely in ominous Black, which includes its ankles, forefeet, midfeet and straps. Metallic Gold accents, probably representing the championship, can also be spotted, while the sneaker also appears to be equipped with icy, translucent outsoles.
Thus, it is not surprising that this sneaker will only be available for just a limited time. Moreover, this Nike LeBron Zoom Solider 10 iD will make its retail debut exclusively on NIKEiD on June 21st, but its price has not been revealed yet.
