It is unlikely that sneakerheads have forgotten about the Nike release 2015 of the Kobe 10 EXT Mid, which made its retail debut earlier this year. The mid-cut EXT form of the Nike Kobe 10 hit the shelves in three different colorways, namely black, red and white. Now, apparently Nike has once again tinkered with the cut and height of the Kobe Bryant’s tenth off-the-court silhouette and it seems that it is going to arrive at retailers as an all-White High version.
In early 2015, Nike Basketball had unveiled the latest, tenth model in the signature sneaker series of Kobe Bryant. Taking inspiration from the previous Kobe designs, Nike whipped up the Kobe 10 to be a low-cut sneaker. The Nike Kobe 10 turned out to be a durable sneaker with an upper made up of long lasting textiles, and is equipped with a carbon-fiber shank that will provide unmatched response. However, it was only a matter of a couple of months until Nike Basketball proceeded to build and drop the Kobe 10 EXT as an off-court alternative. Above all, they introduced the Nike Kobe 10 EXT in a mid-cut form.
Recently, photos surfaced of a brand all-white new never-before-seen colorway of the Nike Kobe 10 EXT, with the only exception that it appears to be a high-top pair. It is quite a coincidence that back in May 2015, the very first all-white iteration of the Kobe 10 EXT Mid that Nike had released looks very similar to the debuting colorway of the Kobe 10 EXT High. However, the feature that distinguishes the upcoming high-top Kobe10 EXT High from the Kobe 10 EXT Mid is that its all-white upper does not sport the “X” perforations. The perforations have simply been replaced with “X” patterns.
Currently there is no news of whether or not the Nike release 2015 of the Kobe 10 EXT High will even take place, or whether Nike will stall its release until next year. However, the fact that it is a brand new, debuting silhouette has surely got many sneakerheads anticipated about its arrival.
