On Christmas Eve, Kyrie Irving gifted Victor Cruz with a pair of the Kyrie 3 “Samurai,” which was Nike’s “mystery” Christmas Day release and had not yet hit the shelves at that time. Via their SNKRS app, Nike had made the announcement that as a part of their “12 Soles” Collection, they would dropping a “mystery” sneaker on Christmas Day at a random time. It turned out that Victor was not the only one who received the Nike Kyrie 3 “Samurai” as a Christmas present. While the Holiday Season is nearing their end now, but sneakerheads can look forward to the release of this brand new Kyrie 3 colorway.
On his Instagram (@kyrieirving), Kyrie shared a photo of wrapped sneaker boxes that had name tags attached to them bearing the names of all those who received a Kyrie 3 “Samurai” pair. The names include Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Richard Sherman, Marcus Mariota, Todd Gurley, and plenty of others. A total of 27 sneaker boxes can be seen in the photo, including the one that Victor Cruz received.
