Sneaker Exclusive>>Sneaker Collection>>Nike Kyrie 3
It was back in November 2016 when news and rumors about the arrival of the Kyrie Irving’s third signature sneaker model began spreading. Overall, the Nike Kyrie 3 has clean and simplistic lines. In the case of the Kyrie 2, the straps were a noteworthy part of its design, but the Kyrie 3 is not equipped with them. Furthermore, its uppers also feature Nike’s classic “Swoosh” logo, unlike its predecessor.
In terms of technical specifications though, the Kyrie 3 is not so different from the Kyrie 2. It is equipped with the same Flywire uppers, Phylon midsoles and Zoom Air units within its heels. For additional traction, its outsoles have been designed to be scooping upwards. Instead of straps, taped panels are presented on forefeet for firm, secure lockdown.
The Nike Kyrie 3 made its retail debut just recently, just before the end of 2016 on Christmas Day. Nike made the model available for the very first time via Nike SNKRS on December 25th, 2016 in the “Samurai” colorway. The very next day on December 26th, the Kyrie 3 once again arrived at retailers, this time in a “Black Ice” colorway.
The most recent Nike Kyrie 3 release that took place was that of the Kyrie 3 “Team Red,” which happened on January 7th, 2017. Nike definitely has big plans for Kyrie Irving’s third signature model, but so far, the only other Kyrie 3 colorway that is confirmed for this year is the “Hyper Cobalt” iteration that will hit the shelves on February 1st.
