Nike Releases 2016

Nike’s first quarter had culminated not too long ago on August 31st, 2016. Nike’s fiscal 2017 financial report reveals that there was an 8% rise in the company revenues and there will apparently also be an 11% rise in its inventories in the second quarter of fiscal 2017.

Every year, Nike endeavors to evolve the Air Max line, taking it to the next level of innovation. So, it was only a matter of time before the Air Max 2017 version would take the place of the Air Max 2016 model. Although 2016 is nearing its conclusion, two and a half months still remain and Nike could end up dropping a few more Air Max 2016 releases before this year officially ends. Back in 2015, the final Air Max sneaker had arrived at retailers in November.

While the debut of the Air Max 2017 is expected to take place somewhere in Fall 2017, Nike had already unveiled the next, upcoming version of the Air Max model back in May 2016. Judging from the photos of multiple colorways, the front half of the Air Max 2017 is apparently made up of engineered mesh. It also seems to be equipped with a full-length Max Air unit and features a much larger, traditional-looking Nike Swoosh on the side of each shoe than its predecessor had.
2017 also marks the 20th anniversary of the Air Foamposite One, which should make it obvious that Nike has big plans in celebration of 20 years of the model that features innovative foamshell uppers. Back in mid-August, had revealed that three of the most iconic colorways of the Air Foamposite One would make their comeback in 2017. These colorways will apparently be the “Copper,” “Eggplant,” and the “Royal.” Nike has not yet confirmed the release dates and/or the retail prices, but they will likely be priced slightly higher than the typical Air Foamposite One releases.

Nike’s fiscal 2017 financial report also suggests that from August 31st, 2016 and onward, there has also been a 5% rise in the demand and orders for NIKE Brand athletic apparel and footwear. Thus, Nike remains at the top of its game and 2017 will be no different, rather sneakerheads may end up receiving even more surprises in terms of sneaker releases. So, keep checking back SneakerExclusive for the latest Nike-related news and updates of 2016 and 2017.
