Every basketball enthusiast and Kobe Bryant fan is likely aware by now that Kobe Bryant will be retiring very soon. In fact, this is the final season that he is participating in, which will be over by mid-April along with Kobe’s NBA career. Kobe Bryant is undeniably one of the greatest basketball players of all time with an NBA career that has been nothing short of monumental, but fact of the matter is that is has merely a few weeks left. Even after the Black Mamba has retired, Nike will apparently continue dropping colorways of Kobe’s silhouettes, much like how Jordan Brand has been doing with their Air Jordan line for over 30 years now. For now, the Swoosh has found a perfect way to bid farewell to Kobe Bryant by devising a collection dubbed “Fade To Black,” which will include all of his signature models between the Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 and the Kobe 11.

The Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 was the only unofficial signature sneaker that the Black Mamba ever wore until the debut of the Kobe series, but it definitely belongs in this Collection/Pack. Niketalk was the original source of information regarding this collection/pack and later Instagram user @kb824 also confirmed that the Swoosh are indeed working on it.

The Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 will likely be all-white and the Kobe 11 will be all-back, while the rest of the sneakers are going to live to the pack’s “Fade To Black” moniker with their literally white-to-black fading uppers.

Despite belonging to a single collection/pack, the sneakers from Nike’s “Fade To Black” Collection/Pack already started hitting the shelves from March 1st. The last one, the Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low “Fade To Black” will arrive at retailers on April 13th, and all of them have been set to retail at the same price of $200.
