The High-Top Kobe 9 Is One Nike’s Most Groundbreaking & Innovative Basketball Sneakers

Nike Basketball has officially introduced the Nike Kobe 9 in 2014. Kobe Bryant’s ninth signature Nike sneaker was unveiled in the form of a low-cut silhouette, featuring technological advancements like Flywire, Lunarlon and Nike Flyknit.

The Flyknit technology that is featured on the Kobe 9 was first utilized in running shoes, and consists of multiple strands of yarn knitted together to adapt to the movement of the feet. The midfoot is locked down by the Nike Flywire that is utilized in the upper of the Kobe 9, and Lunarlon cushioning offers responsive and ultra-plush support to the wearer. Another reason the Kobe 9 is such a stable basketball sneaker is because its heel is made from carbon fiber. This groundbreaking shoe has been finished off with a rubber outsole with pressure mapping that replicates the feet’s natural contours. Continue reading Kobe 9
