Kobe 11

Sneaker Exclusive>>Sneaker Collection>>Nike Kobe 11

It was back in 1996 when Kobe Bryant had graduated from high school and he signed with adidas directly after. It was not until Summer 2003, after he broke his deal with them a year earlier and remained without a deal for the year, that Kobe Bryant finally signed with Nike. Three years later, Nike launched his first signature sneaker model in 2006 in the form of the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 and 9 years later, his eleventh signature model is now on its way.

Now that the Lakers’ shooting guard is retiring, the Kobe 11 designed by Eric Avar will likely be his last signature model. The Kobe 11 is still as lightweight as its predecessors, but this will be the first time for Nike to incorporate Flyknit with a thermoplastic polyurethane yarn into the upper of one of their basketball shoes. The rest of the model resembles the Kobe 10 to quite an extent. The heel features a combination of full-length Lunarlon foam and a Zoom Air unit, while the silhouette is also equipped with a mesh tongue that makes it breathable and a translucent outsole.
