The Nike Air Trainer Cruz is the very first signature shoe of the Victor Cruz, the wide receiver of the New York Giants. While it can be seen that the Air Trainer Cruz borrows elements from Nike’s previous Football models, those elements have been transformed to give this sneaker a lifestyle design that is fitting for 2015 and onwards. The sneaker is equipped with a midfoot strap, while the midsole resemble those of the signature sneakers that Nike created for Bo Jackson.

While the Nike release 2015 of the Air Trainer Cruz will take place in the coming months, it has already been unveiled that it will debut in four different colorways, namely “Black/Crimson,” “Haystack,” “Rush Blue” and “Wolf Grey.” The inside of the midfoot strap of the Air Cruz sports the printed words, “Dance to Greatness”. The origin of the Reebok brand can be traced back to 1958 when J. W. Foster’s grandsons founded a new company as a branch to their grandfather’s company. The name Reebok comes from “rhebok,” which happens to be a graceful and fast South African antelope, serving as a perfect representation of the brand. After success in the United Kingdom, the Reebok brand was launched in the United States because of the customization and high quality of their shoes.

In the early 1980’s, Reebok made a surprising move by introducing the first women’s athletic shoe. In 1989, Reebok targeted the world of basketball sneakers by introducing the Pump. They designed the sneakers specifically to be worn on the court. The shoe was equipped with an air bladder and its tongue featured a small pump to inflate the bladder, which ensured a tighter fit around the ankle.
