The PlayStation x Nike PG 2.5 that Paul George recently wore on the court will be making its retail debut next month. Paul George wore this special PG 2.5 pair during the recent game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors. With a score of 123–95, the visiting Thunder were victorious while the Warriors lost their fourth consecutive game. In addition to rocking the PlayStation-inspired sneaker, Paul George was also one of the best players on the court during this game. Fortunately, the PlayStation x Nike PG 2.5 that he wore is not a Player Exclusive and will soon be making its retail debut.
Nike Also Designed A PG 2 “PlayStation As A Tribute To Paul George’s Love Of Gaming
Nike already paid tribute to Paul George’s fondness and passion for gaming earlier this year. PlayStation has been Paul’s favorite gaming brand ever since he received a PS1 from his father years ago as a Christmas gift. On February 10th, Nike released a PG 2 “PlatStation,” which retailed at a price of $110 in limited quantities. Draws were also held at Nike Lenox in Atlanta, Georgia and Nike Soho in New York City. This particular colorway drew inspiration from the gaming controller of the PlayStation 4. Additionally, its heel featured the code “PG13” that could be used to unlock a special feature on the PlayStation 4.
Paul George’s PG 2.5 Featured Is Inspired By The Orignal PlayStation Controller
The PG 2.5 happens to be Paul George’s third signature sneaker model from Nike. Unlike the “PlayStation” colorway of the PG 2, this one draws inspiration from the original PlayStation console, especially its controller. Hence, its uppers are dressed up completely in Wolf Grey and feature the triangle, circle, cross and square shapes that debuted on the action buttons of the PS1 controller. The original Blue-, Red– and Yellow-colored PS logo can also be spotted on the tongue of the left shoe. The PlayStation x Nike PG 2.5 is going to be available in both adult and GS sizes once it makes its retail debut next month.
