PUMA Drops Three Different R698 Colorways As A Part Of Their “Kosma” Pack

It is about time that PUMA decided to focus on the fall season that is underway and this time the colors of autumn serve as a source of inspiration for their latest collection that includes three R698 colorways. The collection has been dubbed the “Kosma” Pack but it is not certain why PUMA picked this nickname for the pack. The last time, the PUMA R698 was involved in an outstanding collaboration between BAU and PUMA and now it is back once again for this upcoming Fall/Winter PUMA Sneakers 2015. In fact, select PUMA retail stores already have the pack up for grabs.

From the very first time that the model was introduced, its upper was made up of a combination of mesh and suede, while it was also equipped with a chunky Trinomic sole and featured barely any branding. Eventually, sneakerheads began lacing up in the PUMA R698 on the streets as well rather than exclusively for running. Ever since, PUMA has also dropped plenty of colorways of the R698 and the silhouette has also been a part of quite a few collaborations over the years.

All three pairs that are a part of PUMA’s “Kosma” Pack feature a suede construction, which is certainly fitting for the current Fall/Winter season. The influence by the colors is also obvious and each pair is predominantly dressed up in a different hue, namely dark red, dark yellow and grey. Some of the elements that all three of these sneakers have in common include the black and white accents, and the subtle elephant print details. It is also being rumored that the nickname of the pack is a nod to composer Joseph Kosma, who once composed a piece by the name of “Autumn Leaves.” There is also no need to wait since the PUMA release 2015 of the “Kosma” Pack already took place on November 13th.
