These Air Jordans Are Inspired By Michael Jordan’s Favorite Tinker Hatfield-Designed Nike Sneakers

This year marked the debut of renditions of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 3, which Tinker Hatfield modified to resemble his original, respective sketches of these two models. The Air Jordan 3 “Tinker” arrived on April 30th, which was Tinker Hatfield’s birthday, while the Air Jordan 13 was transformed into a completely different model, which was dubbed the Jordan Black Cat. It seems that upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018 are going to include a “Tinker” series of sneakers of a slightly different nature. It will consist of Air Jordan models inspired by some of Michael Jordan’s favorite Nike sneakers that were designed by Tinker Hatfield. This Air Jordan 6 “Tinker” Is Inspired By Hatfield’s Original Sketch From 1991

The Air Jordan 3 debuted thirty years ago and in commemoration of its 30th anniversary, its classic “Black Cement” and “White Cement” colorways made a comeback. Additionally, Jordan Brand also introduced the Air Jordan 3 “Tinker.” Within the sneakers community, it is common knowledge that the Air Jordan 3 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and this “Tinker” iteration was inspired by his original sketch of the sneaker model. The sketch actually made an appearance in the form of the graphic on the midsoles. Of course, Tinker Hatfield also designed the Air Jordan 6 and drew a sketch for the sneaker’s design, which is being transformed into an upcoming iteration. Many sneakerheads, especially those who own it, will agree that the Air Jordan 6 Rings is one of most impressive hybrid models that Jordan Brand has ever produced. Until recently, the last time that an Air Jordan 6 Rings pair hit the shelves was back in 2014. Back in June 2015, while half of that year still remained, Jordan Brand decided to some early unveiling of their Spring 2016 releases that were scheduled to be dropped the year after. When it comes to integral retro releases, Jordan Brand always tends to be well-prepared. As a tribute to Player Exclusive sneakers, Jordan Brand whipped up a jaw-dropping “Alternate” collection. It included An Air Jordan 2 87, an Air Jordan 4 89 and an Air Jordan 5 90, all three dressed up in alternate Chicago Bulls color schemes. This Air Jordan 6 Might Be Paying Homage To Michael Jordan’s Alma Mater

The first Air Jordan 6 release of 2017 already arrived at retailers earlier this week. It was the Air Jordan 6 “Hyper Pink” and it happened to be a GS-exclusive release that is only meant for small-footed sneakerheads. The Air Jordan 6 GS “Hyper Pink” became available on January 14th and it retailed for $140. For those who have still not had a look at the sneaker yet, its leather uppers are predominantly dressed up in a combination of Anthracite and Black with Hyper Pink-colored detailing. The latest, upcoming Air Jordan 6 release that is featured here likely reminds sneakerheads of the mode’s retro “University Blue” iteration. Jordan Brand Concluded 2016 With The Air Jordan 6 “Black Cat” & “Purple Dynasty”

Jordan Brand concluded their Jordan releases of 2016 by dropping two different colorways of the Air Jordan 6. One of the two, the Air Jordan 6 “Purple Dynasty,” was a GG-/GS-exclusive release. It was even somewhat special and unique since its uppers were made up of suede and were entirely dressed up in Purple, including the branding, inner linings, laces, midsoles and outsoles. Subtle hits of White were also present, namely over the “Jumpman” logo on each lace lock and on the midsoles/outsoles.
