The Air Jordan 8 “Bugs Bunny” was one of the top ten sneakers of April 2013. Despite being dubbed “Bugs Bunny,” it was actually a retro colorway that had arrived at retailers twice before and was simply known as the Air Jordan 8 Retro “White / Black – True Red.” Jordan Brand had originally dropped the Air Jordan 8 Retro “White / Black – True Red” on March 1st, 2003 and it retailed at a price of $135. This sneaker arrived at retailers once again as a part of 2008’s Countdown Package. The Jordan 8 “Championship” Pack Is A Nod To The 1993 NBA Finals

Over these past couple of weeks, Jordanheads have been getting better and more detailed looks at the two Air Jordan 8 colorways from this year’s “Championship” Pack. Since the previous “Championship” Air Jordan releases have all been Champagne- and Cigar-themed, it was assumed that the 2016 iterations of the Air Jordan 8 from the pack would be drawing from the same source of inspiration. As it turned out, the nicknames of these two Air Jordan 8 renditions are actually “Championship Trophy” and “Confetti.” So, while they may not be inspired by Michael Jordan’s favorite post-championship victory treats, they still reflect the whole Championship-theme of the pack.
