The “White/Cement” colorway is returning as a part of upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018, but on a different, brand new sneaker model. As you likely know already, the “White/Cement” happens to be the iconic, original colorway of the Air Jordan 4 that made its retail debut back in 1989. The same year, Spike Lee wore it in his comedy–drama film, Do The Right Thing. It has also been re-released in retro form twice, once in 1999 and more recently in 2016, the latter resembling the OG more closely. This year it seems, the “White/Cement” colorway will be appearing on the successor to the Jordan 88 Racer.
Now that you have been reading about the Jordan Legacy 312 every now and then, you likely know that it was introduced as the Don C’s signature model that he designed in collaboration with Jordan Brand. This month, it joined recent Air Jordan releases 2018 in a “Rookie Of The Year” colorway and three others that were a part of a “Rivals” pack. You probably also know that the Jordan Legacy 312 is a hybrid of three classic sneaker models, one of them being the Air Jordan 3. In celebration of the Year of the Dog, the Chinese New Year, Jordan Brand dropped not but two special Air Jordan releases 2018 just last month. One was a colorway of the Air Jordan 6 and the other was a nearly identical colorway of the Air Jordan 32. The knitted uppers of the Air Jordan 32 “Chinese New Year” were dressed up entirely in Black, with Gold, Green, Red and White appearing as a part of the fireworks-like detailing and floral embroidery that it featured. “2018” and some “Chinese” lettering could also be spotted the tongue tabs.
