Late in March 2015, extremely clear photos of a custom Off-White x Air Force 1 pair surfaced online. Apparently, some anonymous fan for responsible for designing the custom sneaker because it was not commissioned by anyone from Off-White or Nike. Initially, many mistakenly assumed that the photos had been leaked. No one could have guessed that an actual collaboration between the two brands would end up taking place. Maybe that custom pair was responsible for giving Off-White and Nike the idea to team up. Nike Seems To Have Designed Multiple Vachetta Tan Leather Sneakers With Premium Detailing

Over the past few years, sneakers with uppers made up of Vachetta Tan leather have become a growing trend. It all started with Hender Scheme, the artisan leather goods provider, and ever since the discovery of their Vachetta Tan creations, other big sportswear brands followed in their footsteps. The Vachetta Tan theme is almost being overused, but sneakerheads have no reason to complain. In the beginning of 2017, Nike dropped a premium leather Air Force 1 iteration dressed up predominantly in clean White with a bit of Vachetta Tan. Nike Has Created New Special Field Air Force 1 Colorways For Early 2017

Many sneakerheads will probably agree that the Air Force 1 is among some of Nike’s most rugged and toughest footwear models. Nike had likely constructed the silhouette to be long lasting. This year, Nike apparently decided that it was time for the Air Force 1 to be overhauled and taken to a whole new level, so they introduced the Special Field AF1 near the end of September. This sneakerboot was also seen in Shanghai during the Yo’Hood show, displayed at the Nike SNKRS Out The Box exhibit. This year marked 34th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1. When it comes to the history of sneakers, the Air Force 1 is regarded as one of the best-selling athletic shoes. Considering that thirty four years have already passed since it had been introduced, it is not surprising that Nike has dropped literally thousands of iterations to date. Furthermore, there are almost two thousand variations of the Air Force 1 as of now, despite its brief hiatus back in the early-to-mid ’80s.
