Amidst next month’s Nike releases 2019, it seems that abrand new colorway of both the Air Foamposite One & Pro will arrive at retailers. Recently, an Air Foamposite One colorway inspired by the Memphis Tigers made its retail debut on March 22nd, 2019 at a price of $230. Nike had first designed the Air Foamposite One Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway, who was not only once a member of the NCAA Division I intercollegiate basketball team, but is also their current head coach.
This Fall, the Nike Air Foamposite One “Habanero Red” made its retail debut on October 27th, 2018 at a price of $230. The Air Foamposite Pro also arrived at retailers earlier this month in a “Black Metallic Gold” colorway. As you can see, this is a nearly all-Black colorway, so its Foam shell uppers, inner lining, laces, overlays, pull tabs and rubber outsoles are all covered in Black. Metallic Gold can also be spotted over its carbon fiber midfoot plate, embroidered Nike “Swoosh” branding and the larger “Swoosh” emblem on the sides. The Air Foamposite Pro “Black Metallic Gold” retailed at a price of $230 on November 17th, 2018.
Foam shell uppers are typically associated with Nike’s Foamposite line. However, back in Fall 2010, Nike blended Foamposite with the Air Force 1, ultimately designing the Air Force 1 Foamposite. In addition to having foam shell uppers, the very first iteration of the Air Force 1 Foamposite featured 3M reflective material over its ankle straps. Additionally, its Foamposite uppers were covered in radiant Silver. Ever since, the Air Force 1 Foamposite has hit the shelves in a few different colorways, and has been a part of Nike’s 2013 Black History Month releases and the Air Force 1 XXX Anniversary Holiday Collection.
Nike’s latest Air Foamposite One release just made its retail debut recently on September 28th, 2018. It was the Air Foamposite One “Denim,” which retailed at a price of $230. As you may have guessed from its nickname, its foam shell uppers are covered in Obsidian-colored denim, while Black- and University Red-colored detailing can be spotted throughout, such as over the branding. Additionally, it is also equipped with icy, translucent outsoles. Although this was the latest one, more Air Foamposite One releases can be expected to arrive in the coming months. In fact, two new Air Foamposite One colorways are already scheduled to hit the shelves in October 2018. Continue reading These Are The Recent & Upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One Releases In 2018

A trend that seems to be on the rise is the use of denim and the Air Foamposite One seems to have received this treatment as well. Instead of the usual Foamposite shell, the uppers of this iteration are made up of Obsidian-colored denim, with Black appearing over the heels, inner lining, laces and tongues. University Red can also be spotted over the Nike “Swoosh” and “Once Cent” logos, while it is equipped with icy Blue-colored, translucent outsoles too.
