This Jordan Racer 88 Colorway Draws Inspiration From The Air Jordan “Fear” Pack

The Jordan 88 Racer that is featured here probably looks like it is one of Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan releases 2018 for Halloween, especially considering that it has been nicknamed “Fear.” After all, Halloween is a spooky celebration and spooky things tend to induce fear. However, the “Fear” nickname of this Jordan 88 Racer colorway might actually have nothing to do with Halloween, rather it seems to be drawing inspiration from Jordan Brand’s “Fear” Pack from 2013. Coincidentally, the Jordan Racer 88 borrows from the Air Jordan 3, which was included in the “Fear” Pack along with the Air Jordan 4 and the Air Jordan 5. 2019 Will Mark The Retail Debut Of A Nike Air Jordan REACT Range

Back in August, Frank Cooker shared photos on Instagram (@frankcooker) of an Air Jordan 1 variation equipped with Nike’s REACT cushioning. In case you are wondering who Frank Cooker is, he is apparently Jordan Brand’s NRG footwear designer. Not only was this variation equipped with React cushioning, it resembled the Nike REACT Element 87 to a great extent, including adhesive claps, dual tongues, and semi-translucent uppers. In fact, this hybrid variation looked nothing like the traditional Air Jordan 1. It will even have a different name and that is not all. Next year’s Air Jordan releases 2019 will include five brand new models featuring the REACT cushioning. Continue reading 2019 Will Mark The Retail Debut Of A Nike Air Jordan REACT Range

As you may recall, the Westbrook 0 was introduced the year before that, back in February 2015 as an off-the-court, lifestyle sneaker reflecting Russell Westbrook’s fashion sense. Despite its increasingly luxurious and versatile aesthetic, the Westbrook 0 was inspired by the Air Jordan 11. A year later, Jordan Brand unveiled the Westbrook 0.2 and now it seems that they are continuing the line because featured here is the Jordan Westbrook 0.3.
