Before this year comes to an end, more brand new Jordan Legach 312 colorways will be joining this month’s Air Jordan releases 2018. In one of the recent posts, you may have read that an upcoming Jordan Legacy 312 iteration featuring patent leather uppers might be drawing inspiration from 2013’s Air Jordan 1 “Black/Metallic Gold.” Although this has not been confirmed, the two do look alike. However, it seems that this will not be the only Jordan Legacy 312 colorway to hit the shelves before 2019 kicks off. Three brand new colorways of the Jordan Legacy 312 were recently unveiled, one of which is already available.
Two of Jordan Brand‘s upcoming Air Jordan releases, one of 2018 and the other of 2019, will both be made of patent leather. Patent leather is generally recognized as one of the signature elements of Air Jordan 11 colorways, such the “Concord” that recently made its comeback and the “Bred” colorway return next year. As of lately though, the glassy material has been making an appearance over the Air Jordan 1 and other models. For instance, the friends–and–family–excusive version of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 1 “Art Basel Miami” was made up of patent leather. Now, the Jordan Legacy 312 and Air Jordan 1 will feature patent leather too.
Now that you have been reading about the Jordan Legacy 312 every now and then, you likely know that it was introduced as the Don C’s signature model that he designed in collaboration with Jordan Brand. This month, it joined recent Air Jordan releases 2018 in a “Rookie Of The Year” colorway and three others that were a part of a “Rivals” pack. You probably also know that the Jordan Legacy 312 is a hybrid of three classic sneaker models, one of them being the Air Jordan 3. So, it is only natural that this latest, upcoming Jordan Legacy 312 iteration borrows the Air Jordan 3’s most prominent feature.
