The Air Jordan 1 colorway inspired by Michael Jordan‘s Sports Illustrated cover from 1984 will be among December’s Air Jordan releases 2018. Michael Jordan did some exceptional and remarkable things during his rookie season as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Back in May 1985, the NBA even named him the Rookie of the Year. This year, Jordan Brand even released an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rookie of the Year” colorway on November 17th, 2018. It drew inspiration from the shirt Michael Jordan wore during his acceptance speech. Jordan Brand again drew inspiration from his rookie season for this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorway.
One of Jordan Brand‘s upcoming Air Jordan releases 2018 has not even debuted yet but has already made its way in the resale market. Usually, it takes a while until a recently released Air Jordan colorway surfaces on the resale market. Sneaker resellers generally have to wait until the colorway has officially hit the shelves and purchase it in bulk in order to resell it later at higher prices. However, that does not seem to be the case here. The official release of the Air Jordan 1 “Rookie Of The Year” is literally just around the corner but it is already available on StockX, a deadstock and resale platform.
