Here is a reminder that the long-awaited Air Jordan 11 Low “Navy Snakeskin” has finally returned to joined current Air Jordan releases 2019. The Air Jordan 11 Low was recently discussed in this post. To refresh your memory, the colorway first made its retail debut back in 2001. Its uppers are made up of plain White leather instead of ballistic mesh, and its inner lining, laces and midsoles are plain White too. It gets its nickname from the Navy Blue hue covering its mudguards, which feature the snakeskin texture rather than being made up of patent leather. It is also equipped with icy, translucent outsoles with a Blue shade. Continue reading Release Reminder ~ The Air Jordan 11 Low “Navy Snakeskin” Is Available
The Air Jordan releases 2019 that are arriving in the coming months will include three “Snakeskin” iterations of the Air Jordan 11 Low. On April 19th, 2014, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 11 Low “Green Snakeskin.” The first of this year’s trio of “Snakeskin” iterations is of the Air Jordan 11 Low SE as seen above. This is the most subtle of the three, with Light Bone-colored ballistic mesh uppers. Of course, it gets its nickname from the snakeskin texture visible over its entire mudguards. Furthermore, its inner lining is covered in Black and University Red can be spotted over the little “Jumpman” logo on the tongue tags.
This second iteration is being referred to as “Pink Snakeskin” and it will be joining next month’s Air Jordan releases 2019 exclusively for women. This colorway will be available in sizes up to 16.5, which is the equivalent of the men’s 15 size. Its ballistic mesh uppers, laces, midsoles and tongues are all plain White, and it is also equipped with milky, translucent outsoles. The pink hue that covers its inner lining and its faux snakeskin-textured mudguards is actually called Watermelon. Additionally, each of its tongues features a Black-colored tongue tag with White-colored “Jordan” branding and a little Red-colored “Jumpman” logo.
Above you can see one of the recently published official photos of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Navy Snakeskin.” It is regarded as the original “Snakeskin” iteration since it was originally released back in May 2001 and is actually making its comeback this year. Compared to the above two iterations, this one is almost entirely plain White, which includes its ballistic mesh uppers, inner lining, laces, midsoles and its tongues. Its mudguards are Navy-colored and feature snakeskin texture. It is also equipped with its signature carbon fiber midfoot plates and icy, translucent outsoles. Its tongues also have the same tongue tags as the above two iterations.
