As sneakerheads may recall, when the Jordan Ultra Fly was unveiled, it was also revealed that the brand new model was inspired Michael Jordan’s iconic “Black Cat” nickname. Jimmy Butler, one of the shoot guards and small forwards of the Chicago Bulls, played a huge part in the promotion of the model, so much so that it has somewhat become his signature sneaker. Not only that, last season Jimmy even laced up in the Ultra Fly and rocked it on the court during the Chicago Bulls playoff push. The OG “Royal” Colorway Is Returning For The Nike Foamposite One’s 20th Anniversary

The Nike Foamposite Lite “KryptoNate” was quite a decent release from Nike, and this one definitely turned the heads of many. The design on this one looked like it has been inspired from the Flightposite series. Though the design was very unique once sneakerheads got past first impressions and looked closer into the details of the shoe, they realized that there was still a resemblance to the Flightposites that could be found in the overall look of the shoe. Furthermore, the color scheme of this “KryptoNate” iteration consisted of just two colors. Although not the Lite version, but the Nike Foamposite One is returning in an OG colorway in 2017. 2017 Might Mark The Return Of The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Royal”

In the past we have seen the Air Jordan 1 (I) “Military,” which was dedicated to Michael Jordan’s brother Ronnie Jordan and this time we have this Air Jordan 1 (I) “Father’s Day” which was produced by the Jordan Brand as a tribute to Michael Jordan’s late father James Raymond Jordan Sr. who was the most important part of Jordan’s life. While not every Air Jordan 1 High that had released has had such a personal connection to Michael Jordan Brand, but the OG “Royal” is one that has been equally iconic and momentous.
