Among upcoming Air Jordan releases 2019 will be these two Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG colorways that look similar, and not just to each other. Both of these colorways, or at least one of them, likely remind you of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shattered Backboard,” which made its retail debut on June 27th, 2015 at a price of $160. The year after that, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard,” a variation that also retailed for $160 on October 8th, 2016. It now seems that the third “Shattered Backboard” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is on its way.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage To Home” seen above was first previewed back in August 2017. At first, it was assumed that it might be a sample, but it was later revealed that it would be joining this year’s Jordan releases 2018. The highlight of this iteration is the fact that one half of each shoe is dressed up in the model’s iconic “Bred” color scheme and the other in the “Chicago” color scheme. During the opener of the 2016 NFL season this Thursday night, Von Miller of the Denver Broncos was spotted a brand new pair of adidas Yeezy cleats. This was followed by a torrent of social media posts, as the other NFL players also decided to show off their new monochromatic Yeezy cleats as well. Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys was also among them, but since he happens to be a Jordan Brand athlete, he shared a photo of his Blue- and White-colored Jordan cleats on his Twitter account (@DezBryant).
