Instead of paying sufficient attention at prospective first round picks, the Charlotte Hornets have been busy in search of prospective free agents who have not been drafted yet. This past week, the Hornets were spending time making their workouts more active and energetic. At this point, there are two types of athletes they are in need of, namely those suitable for the 22nd pick and those who will be available after the draft has ended so as to save money. On the other hand, Jordan Brand will earn more money from the sales of the Air Jordan 10 “Charlotte” inspired by the team.
After winning a total of six championships over the course of his illustrious career, Michael Jordan purchased the Charlotte Hornets franchise back in 2010. While the G.O.A.T. does not have a direct connection with Charlotte, he did once play for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. At present, the Charlotte Hornets and Jordan Brand are two of Michael Jordan’s leading and major businesses, and although not the first time, but this Air Jordan 10 “City Pack” release brings both of them together. Hence, this Air Jordan 10 iteration draws inspiration from the official team colors of the Hornets.
Since this sneaker borrows the official team colors, its uppers are predominantly dressed up in pure White with a combination of Blue Lagoon and Concord accents visible all over. The inner linings of this sneaker are also covered entirely in Black. The Blue Lagoon and Concord hues also appear in an alternating manner over the outsoles, which not only feature the Jumpman logo but also pay homage to some of Michael Jordan’s most memorable accomplishments.
It must be noted that this is not the only colorway from the Air Jordan 10 “City Pack” to have made its retail debut this week. The Air Jordan 10 “Charlotte” hit the shelves alongside the Air Jordan 10 “London” on June 18th, and it should still be available at a price of $190.
