For some reason, sneaker collectors currently have mixed opinions about the Nike Foamposite, but Nike likely does not have any intention of ceasing their Foamposite releases, at least anytime soon. Various new colorways of the Foam have been released over the past couple of months and now the Nike Air Foamposite One “Olive” is on the way. Sneakerheads probably recall the Nike Air Foamposite One “Quai 54” that recently retailed on one of the June Jordan release dates and now another similar iteration is arriving, which has been dubbed “Hologram.”
The “Olive” colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite One PRM is an entirely Olive-colored sneaker that sports Black-colored leather lining. To add the finishing touch to the sneaker, its upper has been paired up with a Gum rubber sole. Back in June, the “Quai 54″ rendition of the Nike Air Foamposite was also spotted during the Quai 54 streetball tournament that took place in Paris, France. The Air Foamposite One “Quai 54” iteration has an upper featuring a holographic or iridescent effect on the Quai 54 logos visible on heel, lace and tongue. The Nike Air Foamposite One “Quai 54” has already debuted, but since it was a friends and family release, only 54 pairs hit the shelves.
The upper sports an iridescent effect, which resembles a Hologram, just like the one covering the upper of the “Quai 54” rendition. The carbon fiber shank, laces, lining and tongue of this sneaker are dressed up in Black. Further detailing visible on this sneaker includes a striped Black and White pull tab and the Penny logo featured on the heel, while an icy translucent outsole completes the look.
Overall, this design of this upcoming Nike Air Foamposite One “Hologram” is simplistic yet stunning and it has been confirmed to be arriving at retailers on one of the November 2015 Nike release dates. Sneakerheads hoping to cop this pair should be prepared to spend $250 at select Nike retailers on November 27th.
