Over the years, Kevin Durant has earned the nickname of “Easy Money” and as of lately, Nike Basketball has also been making easy money off his eighth signature sneaker model. Brand new colorways continue to promote the thriving growth of the KD 8. Considering that Nike has countless loyal admirers across the Atlantic, the latest iteration of the KD 8 that they have whipped up comes with a European theme. In fact, as a nod to Kevin Durant’s own nickname, this upcoming colorway of his eighth signature silhouette has been dubbed “Easy Euro.”
Jordanheads may or may not know this but earlier in September, Kevin Durant had gone on a brief tour of some of the most popular European cities, such as Berlin, Madrid and Paris. Hence, this upcoming “Easy Euro” colorway is not only inspired by Kevin Durant’s recent tour but is also a nod to all the Nike fans throughout Europe. Sneakerheads, whether they are from Europe or not, may also notice something else when they take a glance at this KD 8 rendition, which is the fact this colorway appears to take inspiration from the Euro currency too.
As such, the upper of the Nike KD 8 “Euro” is covered in a color scheme that is made up of hues like Alligator Green, Bright Citrus, Lunar Grey and Squadron Green. Of course, the sneaker’s upper also features Flyweave fabrication, which is a signature element of the KD 8.
Sneakerheads might be aware that the Nike release 2015 of the Nike KD 8 “Easy Euro” has already taken place in Europe earlier this month, which may have made the release seem like a European exclusive. Luckily for stateside collectors, that is not the case because the Nike also intends to drop the sneaker in the United States as well. In fact, October 17th will mark the arrival of the Nike KD 8 “Easy Euro” at retailers in the U.S.
