Ever since the very first Metallic Silver rendition of the Nike KD 8 Lifestyle introduced back in June, not many colorways of the alternate model have the shelves, apart from the darker Black iteration. However, apparently this is going to change soon since Nike has unveiled a brand new colorway of the KD 8 Lifestyle that sports a color scheme consisting of black, red, silver and white. While the Nike release 2015 of the Metallic Silver colorway remains uncertain, this new one could arrive at retailers soon.
Sneakerheads are probably aware that colorways of the Nike KD 8 have been leaked several times. However, in the case of the lifestyle edition of his eighth signature model, it was actually Kevin Durant himself who unveiled the Nike KD 8 Lifestyle. It was back in June when Kevin Durant posted a clear photo of the Metallic Silver-colored KD 8 Lifestyle on his Instagram account, which provided a detailed look of the sneaker.
From the very first glimpse at the model, sneakerheads would have likely understood that Nike has designed the KD 8 Lifestyle to be worn off the hardwood and it is meant to be footwear for the streets. The photo that Kevin Durant posted makes it quite obvious that the lifestyle silhouette is not as conceptual as Nike’s other sneakers that have been introduced in the past. Apparently, Nike designed it to look subtle and in the case of the KD 8 Lifetyle, it seems to work.
For the sneakerheads reading this who are probably aware how Nike has constructed the KD 8 Lifestyle model, it happens to be equipped with the Nike Dunk’s sole. The upper of this new KD 8 Lifestyle colorway sports a gradient color scheme that consists of black, red and silver. Similarly, the midsole are covered in red and the outsole is covered in white. Moreover, the laces feature a dubrae with KD branding that is dressed up in gold, while the KD logo can also be spotted on the tongue.
