The photo of this never-before-seen Air Jordan 11 Low colorway was recently posted by Instagram user @2muchsol3 and as of now, no one has any clue what it might be. It could be a photo of a sample that has gotten leaked, a custom pair designed by some renowned sneaker customizers, or it could even be one of the Air Jordan releases 2017. It is even possible that perhaps Jordan Brand are planning to drop this Air Jordan 11 Low rendition at some point in 2016, even there is already the major Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” released scheduled for December.
One thing that is for though is the fact that this is not the first time the Metallic Gold hue has made an appearance on the eleventh Air Jordan model, whether over its mid-top or low-top form. Back in 2014, Usher had been spotted at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in an Air Jordan 11 with uppers that were almost entirely dressed up in “Metallic Gold.” Even the laces of that sneaker featured Gold-colored speckles, while the combination of White midsoles and icy translucent outsoles added the finishing touch. The Air Jordan 11 Low that can be spotted in the above photo looks quite similar yet somewhat different.
From the looks of it, this Air Jordan 11 Low colorway definitely does not appear to be an all-Gold sneaker. In fact, its uppers along with laces and tongues are visible plain and simple, in clean White, while the inner linings and the tag on the tongues are both covered in Black. It is the signature glimmering patent leather overlays of this sneaker that are really standing out because they are dressed up in Metallic Gold. While there is no further information or details about this sneaker, but rumors are suggesting that it might have some connection with the upcoming Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, which means that Jordan Brand might drop it in the coming months.
