The most recent iteration of LeBron 12 that hit the shelves was the EXT “Finish Your Breakfast” and it seems that releases of the twelfth LeBron James signature model are beginning to slow down. Of course, this is likely a sign that Nike Basketball is soon going to unveil the next installment in Lebron James’s signature sneaker series, the LeBron 13. However, it seems that sneakerheads have not yet seen the last of the LeBron 12, or at least its lifestyle version, because another iteration of the LeBron 12 EXT is on its way to retailers on one of the upcoming Nike release dates 2015.
While Nike Basketball probably had no intention of unveiling the LeBron 13 any time soon, Lebron James himself when he wore a never-before-seen sneaker, rumored to be the Lebron 13, at the Nike Elite Basketball Academy. Apparently, this much is certain that they are not a Zoom Solider or some other takedown pair since on-feet photos of the sneaker reveal that the kicks are equipped with Hex-Zoom cushioning.
However, even if Nike Basketball is considering putting a halt to their LeBron 12 releases, they are obviously not done with the model yet. Near the end of July, an on-feet photo of a never-before-seen colorway of the LeBron 12 EXT had popped on the Internet and this rendition uncannily resembled a tennis ball. This new rendition of the LeBron 12 EXT, which has been dubbed “Tennis Ball,” actually is imitating the aesthetic of a tennis ball. Hence, it features an entirely Volt-colored fibrous felt construction just like that of tennis balls. Black and White accents add some contrast to the colorway, while an icy translucent outsole provides the finishing touch.
August 28th is one of the upcoming Nike release dates 2015 that is being rumored and speculated to mark the retail debut of this new Nike LeBron EXT “Tennis Ball.” These rumors also suggest that the retail price of the sneaker is going to be $250.
