It is arguable and sneakerheads will likely agree that the Nike Air Presto is the ideal summer model and with warmer months ahead, no wonder one Air Presto colorway after another has been arriving. On March 4th, Nike dropped an Air Presto dressed up in a beige, brown and tan color scheme with a desert camouflage motif on top. On March 5th, another Air Presto hit the shelves, this time almost entirely sporting a Safari motif. Apparently, the Swoosh has a trifecta planned that will be completed with the Nike release 2016 of the upcoming Nike Air Presto “Tropical.”
When it comes to their running shoe models, Nike has always believed in taking things to a whole new level. The Air Presto silhouette is the perfect example of this. As far as the design of the shoe is concerned, it is quite minimal, but it is the vivid hues it has been dressed up in ever since its debut that make it stand out the most. In terms of shoe sizing, the unique thing about the Air Presto is that it is available in sizes between XXXS and XXXL. Ever since the day it was first introduced, the Air Presto has been worn by both runners and by everyday sneakerheads on the street.
The climate and weather has indeed been warming up, so it is probably not surprising that the latest iteration of the Air Presto has been designed to feature a tropical theme. In fact, it looks quite like a Hawaiian shirt, which is quite apt considering that the model is considered as a t-shirt for the feet. A floral pattern consisting of flowers and palm trees covers most of the blue and purple upper, while its TPU cage is dressed up in smoky black and the white soles sport black speckles.
While the Nike Air Presto “Tropical” is indeed scheduled to arrive at retailers in the coming days, there seems to be some discrepancies regarding when exactly that will happen. Therefore, it will either be up for grabs on March 11th or March 16th at a price of $140.
