August 25th will mark the beginning of the 2015 U.S. Open and sneakerheads may or may not know this but between 2004 and 2008, Roger Federer consequently won the U.S. Open title five times. In order to pay tribute to this unbelievable accomplishment by the second best professional tennis player in the world, it is not surprising that Nike has dropped the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9.5 “Legend.” Indeed, the “Legend” iteration of the Zoom Vapor Tour 9.5 has already arrived at retailers, so instead of waiting for upcoming Nike release dates 2015, sneakerheads can just cop a pair.
Nike has designed the Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour “Legend” tennis shoe for men so they can be speedy on grass courts. The upper is made up of textile material, incorporated Nike’s Dynamic Fit technology that ensures an adaptive and lightweight fit. The upper also happens to be dressed up in a Hot Lava, Radiant Emerald and Teal color combination. In particular, the mesh upper is covered in the emerald green hue, while some contrast is added to the overall makeup of the sneaker by the Hot Lava pink accents. Low-profile and responsive cushioning will be provided by the heel since it contains a Nike Zoom unit, while a symbol of the U.S. Open trophy along with the number 5, representing Roger’s victories, can also be spotted on the heel as well. Other notable features of this sneaker include Phylon midsole, TPU footframe and Rubber outsole featuring XDR compound.
Apart from debuting in this brand new “Legend,” the Nike Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour is probably one of the most advanced tennis shoes out there at the moment. While there are plenty of other Nike release dates 2015 on their way, the wait is over for sneakerheads who want to grab a pair of the Zoom Vapor 9.5 Tour “Legend.” Of course, buying this sneaker is going set them back $200.
